Valid order
Is an order which an IB will receive commission for. A valid order should last 180 seconds or more, have at least 30 points (3 pips) difference between open price and close price and should not be closed by means of Partial close or Multiple close by. -
Valuation
The analytical process of determining an asset or a company's current or projected worth. An analyst evaluating a company looks at the business management, the composition of capital structure, the market value of its assets, and the prospect of future earnings. -
Virtual private server (VPS)
Is a dedicated server that can be used to run Expert Advisors even if the trader exits the program. It also minimizes a chance of system downtime due to technology or/and connectivity failures. -
Volatility
A statistical measure to track price changes over time interpreted as the amount of uncertainty or risk attributed to changes in the underlying price of a security. The higher the volatility, the higher the risk involved. -
Volume
Number of lots traded in a currency pair within a period of time. -
Volume requirement
